2012-04-25 HealthSun Leases 19,000 SF in Coconut Grove    Continental Plaza Adds Healthcare Company to Tenant Roster.  HealthSun Health Plans Inc. lease 19,000 square feet at the Continental Plaza at 3250 Mary St. in Coconut Grove.  Miles Glascock of Cresa in South Florida represented HealthSun.  Jose I. Juncadella SIOR, Maria G. Juncadella and Tony Puente CCIM, of Fairchild Partners, Inc. represented the landlord, TA Associates Realty.
2012-04-20 Jose I. Juncadella Earns Heavy Hitter Award 2nd Year in a row  Jose I. Juncadella was recognized as one of the movers and shakers in South Florida’s real estate industry. 2012-01-26 Miami Herald Finalizes Lease The Miami Herald Media Company (“Miami Herald”) has agreed to terms to relocate to a 158,265 square foot office building in Doral, Florida. The property, which formerly served as the headquarters of U.S. Southern Command, will be renamed One Herald Plaza at Wespointe Business Park.
2012-01-12 Growing food producers, distributors moving to add space Two local producers and distributors of food will relocate their headquarters this year within Miami-Dade County to accommodate their growth.  Sugar producer Banah International Group Inc. will consolidate its operations to a 302,000-square-foot industrial building in Hialeah at 215 Se 10th Ave.  The building will serve as Banah International’s packaging and distribution center as well as its corporate headquarters. “Banah International’s 11-year deal is valued at over $15 million”, said Jose Juncadella, principal at Fairchild Partners Commercial Real Estate Services, who represented the owner of the facility, San Francisco-based Terreno Realty Corp.
2012-01-06 Industrial deals peaked at year end  International promotional products company Bullet Line, a subsidiary of Polyconcept North America, has leased 475,000 square feet of space at Hialeah’s Centergate at Gratigny, closing one of the largest industrial leases in South Florida in several years.  The deal is the latest in a series of stellar trades and leases that has pushed Miami-Dade County’s industrial sector into the forefront of the region’s commercial recovery.
2012-01-03 Sugar maker Banah signs one of 2011′s biggest leases  Banah International, a sugar producer that plans to hire nearly 300 employees during the next three years, has leased more than 300,000 square feet of space in Hialeah owned by Terreno Realty Corp.
2011-12-29 Leon Medical Center buys 13-acre Doral site for $15 million  Miami health care services firm Leon Medical Centers continued an aggressive acquisition year with the $15 million purchase of a Doral industrial facility from Boston Scientific, according to Miami-Dade County records.
2011-12-26 Maria Juncadella named president of Commercial Real Estate Women  She is principal of Fairchild Partners, a boutique commercial real estate firm in Coral Gables.  She also will be responsible for the launch of Inspiring Innovation, a regional education campaign to encourage commercial real estate professionals to tap into new technologies and embrace social media platforms for new business opportunities and professional relationships.

2011-12-19 Leon Medical Centers buys former Boston Scientific compound Leon Medical Centers secured a site for a major expansion after purchasing the former Boston Scientific manufacturing facility in Doral on Dec. 16.  LMC Chairman Benjamin Leon J. said the purchase price was $15 million. Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP lead by senior managing director Hermen Rodriguez, director Ike Ojala and associate director Ignacio Portuondo and Miami-based Fairchild Partners represented Boston Scientific in the deal.

2011-11-22 Fairchild Leases 2,000 SF Retail Property Under their Leasing Report on November 10, 2011, the Daily Business Review reported on Fairchild’s lease of a 2,000 SF Retail property.
2011-11-01 Flagler shops 12 million square feet in billion-dollar portfolio   Jose Juncadella, whose Fairchild Partners is working with KTR Capital Partners to lease 336,000 square feet of new space to be built in Miami-Dade County’s Airport West submarket, said marketing the entire portfolio as a package will make it easier to sell less desirable property to smaller markets.
