News of the passing of Steve Jobs surprised us all, even though his grave illness and recent retirement from Apple were widely reported. At Fairchild Partners we also owe a debt of gratitude to this modern day Da Vinci. Thanks to Mr. Jobs, we have been able to rely on several tools that have been instrumental to our success, beginning with our  attractive brochures, as well as other creative marketing materials. Through the years, we have purchased and used over two dozen Apple computers at our offices. From the company’s inception, Jose Juncadella has insisted on the superiority of Apple technology for our commercial real estate industry. iPhones are the most popular choice of our brokers. In addition, we have never suffered the effects of a virus attack to our software system. Jose blazed a trail during his time at Codina by purchasing his first Apple computer, even though back then it meant having to have  a PC handy for programs that were still incompatible with MacIntosh.  Today, our day-to-day activities at the office run efficiently and effectively thanks, in large part, to Steve Jobs’ unique genius. Fairchild joins Steve’s family, friends and colleagues in a global tribute to a man whose relatively short life resulted in a huge improvement of our personal lives, in the way we communicate and the way we conduct our business on a daily basis. An image of Jose’s first Apple computer as well as one of our newer models, used here by our office mascot, Taco, to check out underwater creatures that he otherwise might have never seen. Please note the iPad in the foreground. It has become an invaluable tool during our property tours.
